Is Your Fat Refusing To Leave You?
You Can Get Rid Of It In Two Days Flat!
Fat has been human being’s permanent arch
enemy for a long time. The modern world has ascertained that beauty
for women would mean thin; for men would be muscular. However,
it is not possible today to stay thin or muscular because we live
a highly sedentary life and there is too much yummy junk food
at every corner that beckons you. The result is that we become
plump or outright overweight and it seems next to impossible to
get rid of the excess fat.
The liposuction is best applied to places where
a lot of fat is accumulated, such as hips, knees, abdomen, neck,
upper arms, buttocks, etc.The liposuction is a quick fix method
to remove fat from the body – specially fit for those who
do not enjoy exercising or do not have time for it. The best would
always be a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen; however,
when this is not possible, the next best thing is the liposuction
method.
The in-house surgeon would discuss with you the pros and cons
of this procedure so you will know exactly what and how much to
expect as per your body.
The only concern for liposuction is age. Elder
people would not have the required elasticity of the skin for
it to shrink back into normal form once the fat has been removed,
hence this could pose a problem. While there is a lot of improvement
in today’s techniques, due to great scientific breakthroughs
and application of the latest technology, the bottom line is that
you will need your body to cooperate with you if this procedure
were fully successful. Hence, the in-house surgeon would discuss
with you the pros and cons of this procedure so you will know
exactly what and how much to expect as per your body.
Liposuction is contra indicated to those who
suffer from diabetes, heart and lung problems and improper circulation
of blood.
The Procedure
The procedure will always depend upon your type
of body, amount of fat to be removed, your age, and other such
criteria that your surgeon would have ascertained and informed
you about.
Liposuction is usually done under anesthesia
– sometime local anesthesia is recommended, while at other
times intravenous sedation is proposed. Yet, another choice is
general anesthesia – this is specially recommended when
the area from where fat is to be removed is extensive.
The procedure involves making a tiny incision,
which is inserted in the fat layer, from where fat is sucked out
just as a vacuum cleaner would draw out dust. During the surgery
and after, a lot of fluid would be given intravenously in order
to compensate the loss during the extraction of fat.
There are two main techniques, which are used
in the plastic-aesthetic surgery for liposuction:
-
The ultrasonic supported fat exhaust (UAL)
– the fat cells with an ultrasonic probe are destroyed.
The UAL method is used particularly at body parts with much
connective tissue.
-
The Super-wet and Tumescent technique
– the tumescence method involves a mixture of saline
solution and anesthetic being injected beneath the skin and
the fatty tissue removed by suction. Nowadays, vibration liposuction
in conjunction with the tumescence method is considered the
safest and most efficient of all liposuction surgial procedures.
